Someone Remembered

Sometimes the most meaningful Thanksgiving stories happen before anyone sits down at the table. "Someone Remembered" celebrates the quiet compassion of recognizing a family in need and making certain their Thanksgiving table will not be empty. At the heart of this 24-inch mandala, groceries for a Thanksgiving meal arrive at a family home—not with fanfare or expectation of thanks, but as an anonymous expression of generosity. Surrounding that intimate scene, intricate layers of warm copper, harvest gold, muted sage, soft blue, cream, and deep black radiate outward in carefully painted patterns. Their repetition suggests a beautiful ripple effect: one thoughtful gesture reaching beyond the giver, touching a family, and becoming part of a Thanksgiving they will remember. The anonymity is an important part of the story. There is no recognition to be gained and no obligation to be repaid. Someone simply saw a need and responded. "Someone Remembered" is a tribute to Thanksgiving at its most meaningful—a season when gratitude becomes generosity, abundance is shared, and kindness quietly finds its way to someone else's door.
