"The First Gathering" draws its inspiration from the traditional story of America’s first Thanksgiving. At its heart, an autumn feast unfolds beside the water beneath a glowing evening sky. The surrounding mandala expands outward in richly layered patterns of warm russet, harvest orange, earthy brown, olive green, soft cream, and touches of blue, echoing the colors and abundance of the season. The intricate geometry surrounding the central scene creates a sense of movement and unity, as though each individual element is being drawn toward the gathering at the center.
